* Investigating Theft & Financial Crimes: Detectives follow up on crimes such as burglary, vehicle theft, fraud, identity theft, and shoplifting—gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and working to identify and apprehend suspects.

* Recovering Stolen Property & Supporting Victims: The unit works to locate and return stolen items whenever possible while guiding victims through the investigation process and connecting them with helpful resources.

*Preventing Crime & Ensuring Successful Prosecution: Detectives analyze crime trends, collaborate with patrol officers and regional partners, and thoroughly prepare cases—working closely with prosecutors to support successful prosecution and hold offenders accountable.
