Design Review Commission
The Design Review Commission is a seven-member volunteer commission appointed by the City Council. It plays a major role in nearly all aspects of design review in Coeur d'Alene.
The Commission's duties include:
- Protecting property rights and values
- Enhancing the built environment, make reports, hold public hearings and perform all other duties as may be prescribed by the Idaho Code and the City Code
- Reviewing development proposals as required by the City Code
- Providing recommendations to the City Council on issues that the City Council may refer to the commission.
- Complying with all City policies, procedures, and regulations
Meeting Information
The Design Review Commission meets on the fourth Thursday of the month in the afternoon.

All meetings are open to the public. Meeting agendas and materials are published in advance to encourage and promote public participation in the Commission's decisions.
Appeals
Please note any final decision made by the Design Review Commission is appealable within 15 days of the decision, pursuant to sections 17.09.705 through 17.09.715 of Title 17, Zoning.
