Public Parking

Welcome to the City of Coeur d'Alene!

The City of Coeur d'Alene manages 699 on-street parking spaces and five public parking lots, a mooring dock, and a boat launch in the Downtown Core.

On-street parking is free for two hours, after which a vehicle must be moved. Our public parking lots have varying rates. The City has both digital payment kiosks as well as a Call to Park system in place. Avoid pay station lines - just use your phone!

Annual Residential Parking Permits Are Available Now

The City of Coeur d’Alene is pleased to announce that the Annual Residential Parking permits are now available for purchase.  These permits will allow one 2-hour parking session per day at either the McEuen Park or Memorial Field parking lots.  The cost for the annual pass is $10.50 for a City resident, or $21.00 for a Kootenai County resident.  Residents can purchase the parking permit online (City Resident: https://bit.ly/Cityres; County Resident: https://bit.ly/Countyres)  or by phone at (509)-295-6490, and will need to provide the vehicle license plate number, as no paper permit will be issued.  Additionally, the permit holder will be required, prior to issuance, to verify residency by providing a copy of the vehicle registration and a local utility bill.
