Free music coming to neighborhood parks
Vocalists Laura Sable and Mark Cotter, accompanied by pianist Bill Wiemuth, will bring live music to local parks in Coeur d'Alene. The first performance will be at 5:30 p.m. July 29 at G. O. Phippeny Park, 827 N. Eighth St. The second will be held at 5:30 p.m. July 30 at Shadduck Lane Park, 1875 E. Shadduck Lane. The programs will feature a mix of jazz and American songbook favorites from Broadway to country and everything in between. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Thank you to the Post Falls Police Department for loaning their equipment to ensure our Coeur d'Alene Police Department is still able to bring free movies to the community after losing all movie equipment in the recent fire at the police pole building.
