Northwest Boulevard Southbound Closure Starting Today, September 24

Beginning TODAY, Thursday, Sept. 24, the right lane of southbound Northwest Boulevard near the 76 station will be intermittently closed to allow paving trucks to safely exit the I-90 project area.

UPDATE: Westbound I-90 On-ramp from Northwest Boulevard Remains Closed
The most immediate change is the continued closure of the westbound Northwest Boulevard on-ramp for up to an additional two weeks. This area was originally expected to re-open Sept. 28, but crews identified unforeseen issues with how the new ramp connects to the interstate. Options for addressing the issue were evaluated, including a shorter-term fix that would require additional closures in the future. Instead, ITD has opted to extend the existing closure to complete the work now and avoid additional disruption later. The ramp is now expected to re-open by Oct. 12.
