Leaf Fest 2026

LEAF PICK UP begins November 12, 2026. Pick-up starts south of Sherman Avenue and moves north. Put leaves/needles out beginning Sunday, November 1st. Leaves are picked up ONCE — mark your calendars!

PLEASE:

• Keep leaves about one foot away from the curb line to allow water flow.

• Move vehicles off the street during leaf pick-up.

• Be alert for leaf pick-up equipment in your neighborhood.

• Keep a safe distance from leaf pick-up equipment.

DO NOT:

• Place bagged leaves in the street.

• Mix branches, garden debris, grass clippings, or other trash in with leaves.

• Miss the deadline — there is only time for one pass.

Sweeping the streets is a slower process, but sweepers will follow to clean the streets.

Questions? Streets & Engineering Department, (208) 769-2235.

City trucks are exempt from covering loads during the leaf pick-up.
