The City of Coeur d’Alene announces the celebration of Arbor Day on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Atlas Mill River Park located at 2310 W. Suzanne Rd. The event is open to all, and it promises a delightful morning of multiple tree planting activity at 10:00AM followed by distribution of free tree seedlings at 11:00AM in partnership with the Arbor Day Organization of North Idaho. There will be tree information, raffle for a few larger scale trees, and complimentary donuts and coffee sponsored by Sun Valley Tree Service, Inc. on a first come, first serve basis.

Since 1987, the Arbor Day Organization of North Idaho has generously gifted over 75,000 trees (representing over 70 different species) to local 4^th graders.

The City of Coeur d’Alene proudly celebrates its 40^th consecutive year as being recognized as a Tree City USA.
