Arts Commission Announces the Launch of a Self-Guided Public Art Tour App

The City of Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission is proud to announce the launch of a self-guided public art tour via the Otocast Audio Mobile App.  The tour includes public art in downtown Coeur d’Alene, Riverstone Park, and Atlas Waterfront Park.

Located on the shores of one of the world’s most beautiful lakes, the City of Coeur d’Alene is a charming town known for its stunning scenery, incredible recreation opportunities, and exceptional collection of public art.To take full advantage of the public art collection, simply download the App and make your way through downtown Coeur d’Alene, Riverstone, and Atlas Waterfront for a customized audio tour of the City’s public artworks.  Hear the artists’ narratives in their own words - right in the palm of your hand!

The App features 80 public art pieces mapped throughout the City and provides in-depth text and audio pertaining to each unique artwork.

The Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the launch of Coeur d’Alene’s Public Art Tour App will be on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at the “Under the Rainbow” entrance to McEuen Park, located at 420 E. Front Avenue, Coeur d’Alene.
