“Seed of Life” Public Art to be Dedicated July 18

A new piece of public art will be dedicated on July 18, at 9:00 a.m.  The art is located on the east side wall of the Parking Garage located on 4^th Street, between Lakeside and Coeur d’Alene Avenues.

“Seed of Life,” as the piece is entitled, was commissioned by the Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission and created by artist Celeste A. Cooning. The City’s Public Art Ordinance, adopted in June 1999, established funding of public art that provides public visibility and impact.
