Spring Sweeping

The City of Coeur d’Alene Streets & Engineering Department will begin full City-wide Spring Sweeping on Monday, March 28, 2022.

Spring sweeping is intended to collect the debris left on our streets over the winter.  Residents are invited and encouraged to clear sidewalks into the gutter line to allow the sweepers to collect the debris.  Please do not blow debris into the travel lanes.

Piles are not sweeper friendly. Therefore, piles of garden debris, leaves, needles, and branches will not be collected. If, however, naturally falling leaves and needles are on the curbs or sidewalks, you may sweep them to the gutter line.  

Follow our progress at: https://www.cdaid.org/610/departments/streets/streetsweeping.  The map will be updated daily and will show the neighborhoods we are working in, where we are headed, and what has been completed.
