Coeur d’Alene Mayor Steve Widmyer and Councilmember Kiki Miller will climb onto the hot seat of a dunk tank on the Fourth of July to raise money for the Lake City High School jazz and concert choirs.

The dunk tank will be near the City Park Bandshell from 1-7 p.m. Others who have agreed to get dunked include LCHS teachers and school district board member Dave Eubanks. Money raised through the event will help fund the choirs’ trip to Portland for a performance.

“We are hoping this can be an annual fundraiser for the LCHS choirs," said choir director Terry DeGroot.

Mayor Widmyer will be in the dunk tank from 3-4 p.m. Councilmember Miller plans to hang out for the duration of the dunking event. Come join the fun and help the LCHS jazz and concert choirs!
