"Inspired"

The monument entitled "Inspired" stands 36 foot 9 inches in height.  The two main columns of water represent Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Spokane River.  The heart represents the people of Coeur d'Alene. Cut into the heart on opposing sides are excerpts from the Idaho State Constitution and the United States Bill of Rights.  The Heart lights from the inside from dusk until dawn.  At its base it is 27 feet wide and 18 feet deep, and it is completely ADA accessible so all visitors can move in, around, and through it. There are educational and mystery elements built into the piece to make it more interesting and interactive.
