In approximately 2007/2008, the City of Coeur d'Alene Parks Department commissioned this carved wildlife white fir totem. The totem has two bears, a wolf, an owl, three salmon, a river otter, a coyote, and a bald eagle. There is also a bench that is cantilevered off each side, giving visitors a place to rest and enjoy the sculpture and views of the the park. Wildlife totems are a great way to incorporate a variety of different wildlife figures into one sculpture.
