The Downtown Parking Garage is a partnership project of the City of Coeur d'Alene and its urban renewal agency, ignite CDA.

The City Council and ignite Board of Directors have agreed on the importance of a parking garage based on a 2016 Parking Study showing an existing deficit of 221 parking spaces downtown and even larger deficits over the next 10 years.

This garage is intended to bring an additional 370 parking spaces downtown for residents and visitors and help activate economic development downtown north of Sherman Avenue.
