2023-2027 Consolidated Plan Survey
The City of Coeur d’Alene receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The city is required to submit a five-year Consolidated Plan to HUD that outlines various aspects of the program and funding priorities for 2023-2027.
The purpose of the CDBG programs is to
provide low- and moderate-income residents with decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities. The Consolidated Plan presents an assessment of local housing, homelessness, and community development needs, identification of priority needs for use of funds received from HUD, and presents strategies to address the priority needs. Forecasting projects and the use of funds is a crucial component to the plan. Citizen outreach and participation are critical to ensure community needs are met.
The survey will be available for participation through March 17, 2023. Two workshops will be held on Monday, February 6 at noon and 6 pm. Please RSVP which workshop you would like to attend to cnesbit@cdaid.org.
