In anticipation of the upcoming CDBG Annual Action Plan for Plan Year 2026 (starting October 1), the City of Coeur d’Alene is actively seeking input from residents and community organizations regarding community needs and grant funding recommendations. We invite you to participate by sharing your insights through a brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/26AAP

CDBG funds
support local community development initiatives which specifically benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) residents and neighborhoods, prevent or eliminate slum and blight, and address urgent community development needs.

In addition to the survey, the City will be hosting a
Public Forum on June 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Ave, Ron Edinger Conference Room 6. During the forum, staff will discuss how CDBG funds were utilized in previous program years and gather community input on current needs and spending priorities for Plan Year 2026 activities.

The draft Annual Action Plan for Plan Year 2026 will be available for review and comment for a period of 33 days from July 2, 2026 through August 4, 2026. The draft Annual Action Plan will be available on the City’s website at
www.cdaid.org/cdbg or in person at City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Avenue, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho 83814.

The City Council
will hold a Public Hearing on August 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Library Community Room, 702 Front Ave. This is an opportunity for all residents and community organizations to provide comments and feedback.

To provide written comments or for additional information, please reach out to CDBG Administrator Sherrie Badertscher at 208-769-2382 or via email at
