Notice Regarding Troy/Hoffman Water System Advisory
Gem State Water has issued a press release regarding a recent low-pressure event in the Troy/Hoffman water system, which may have resulted in potentially unsafe drinking water conditions. The City understands there has been some confusion among residents, and I would like to provide clarification.
Please note that the Troy/Hoffman water system is entirely separate from the City of Coeur d'Alene Water De-partment. The City of Coeur d'Alene water supply remains unaffected and safe to use.
The Troy/Hoffman water system, operated by Gem State Water, serves a specific area within Coeur d'Alene. The impacted area includes properties:
• South of Hoffman Avenue,
• Between 4th Street and Troy Avenue,
• Extending south to E Day Road,
• With boundaries between Honeysuckle Avenue (west) and N 15th Street (east).
Please refer to the map below and Gem State Water’s official press release for detailed information about the affected area.
If you are a customer of the Troy/Hoffman water system and have questions or concerns, please contact Gem State Water directly at 877-755-9287; [email protected]. The City of Coeur d'Alene Water Depart-ment is not involved in this matter and cannot provide assistance regarding the Troy/Hoffman system.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Thank you,
Ryan Webster
