Fuel Mitigation Work on Tubbs Hill begins Thursday, June 12, 2025

Starting Thursday, June 12, 2025, hand crews will begin fuel mitigation work on Tubbs Hill as part of a grant-funded project the City of Coeur d’Alene has been planning since 2023.

Work will begin on the east side of Tubbs Hill, which will result in temporary trail closures and limited access in that area. As the project progresses, trail closures will shift from the east side toward the northwest side of the hill.  We kindly ask all visitors to observe posted signs and respect all trail closures to ensure safety.
