April is Fair Housing Month

56 years ago, the 1968 Civil Rights Act was enacted which clarified the prohibition of discrimination regarding the sale, rental, and financing of housing based on race, religion, national origin, sex, disability, or family status.

The City of Coeur d’Alene supports the on-going efforts of the many organizations, housing, and service providers in our community who provide educational opportunities and outreach to affirmatively further fair housing.
