Online Edition of PageTurner Now Available

An online version of the newsletter for the Coeur d’Alene Public Library – The PageTurner – is now available.

“This is a step I have been wanting to take, since we started producing a monthly newsletter,” said Library Communications Coordinator David Townsend. “We have been sending a version of the printed newsletter, but I think this will be more reader friendly.”

The site, pageturner.blogspot.com, contains all of the stories, photos, and the calendar found in the printed version which is distributed at the library and sent out as a pdf to the library’s e-mail list. The news blog can be read in both a desktop and a smart phone or small tablet format.
In fact, the online version can have photos not included in the newsletter due to space issues and also has the advantage that stories can be updated and, in some cases, corrected, when the need arises.

In addition the news blog includes links to the websites for the main library and the Lake City Public Library branch as well as the Facebook pages for the libraries and the Coeur d’Alene Public Library Foundation.

Patrons who need accommodation to participate in library programs or services are asked to contact the staff prior to the activity by calling 208-769-2315.
