The City of Coeur d’Alene has confirmed a schedule for a significant surface improvement project on Friday, June 23^rd.  Poe Asphalt the contractor doing the project will be grinding the road surface in preparation for an asphalt inlay.  These specific areas will be closed:

                Atlas Road from Prairie Avenue to West Wilbur Avenue

                Newbrook Drive from the roundabout to Atlas Road

                Hanley Avenue, the roundabout at Courcelles Parkway

These specific locations will be closed to through traffic on Friday, June 23^rd and the roundabouts will remain closed until Friday, June 30^th.  We anticipate when the grinding work is completed on Atlas, the road will be accessible with intermittent closures and significantly reduced speeds.  Asphalt is tentatively scheduled to be inlaid at these locations on Wednesday, June 28^th and Thursday, June 29^th.
