IT Technician.  Performs a variety of technical duties related to the installation, maintenance and support of the citywide central computer system and other technical tasks.  This position requires an Associate’s Degree in computer technology and two (2) years computer related work experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.  Starting wage s 18.55 per hour  plus an excellent benefit package. PARKS

Part-Time Evening Custodians

Building Maintenance/Parks Department. Starting hourly wage is $10.00, 25 hours per week 5:00-10:00pm or later, non-benefited position with the exception of PERSI Retirement.  Must be able to pass a background check.  Requires strong custodian background and light maintenance work experience.  City of CDA Job Application.  Open Until Filled and continuously accepted. 

Temporary Ground Maintenance Workers

POLICE
 

Police Captain,   Coeur d'Alene Idaho is seeking a Police Captain with exceptional communication skills to plan, organize, direct and supervise assigned operational activities of a major division of the Police Department.  Requires completion of a Bachelor’s degree with a major course of study in public or business administration, police science, or related field or an Intermediate POST Certificate, eight years of broad and extensive experience in various aspects of municipal police work, must have at least two years of experience at the rank of Police Lieutenant in at least an equivalent sized agency as the Coeur d'Alene Police Department, must be currently POST certified, or any equivalent combination of experience and training necessary to perform the work. Annual hiring range salary is $85,596 - $108,264, placement within range is dependent on experience.  Placement for internal applicants will be as provided by the Personnel Rules.   Position includes an excellent benefit package. Lateral Police Officers
Seeking highly motivated individuals committed to public safety and protecting the citizens of our community.
Current entry level starting hourly wage is $22.93. Lateral applicants will receive an hourly wage equal to 5 % above entry officer wage $24.08-$27.87, dependent on previous sworn experience and agency size. Patrol Division personnel work 10 hour and 40 minute shifts in a 28 day work cycle, during which officers work five days and have four days off. Officers have five days off every third rotation. RECREATION 

Part-Time Swim
Instructor. Swim instructor experience and lifeguard experience preferred.  Must be first aid/CPR certified.  Hourly wage is $15.00.

Youth Tennis Instructor to conduct our summer youth tennis lessons. Sports Officials
The city continuously accepts applications from those interested in officiating basketball and soccer.  Starting hourly wage is $9.00, 6-8 hours per week.  Requires confident personality, ability to work with parents and coaches and sports knowledge and background.
