MUNICIPAL SERVICES

POLICE
 

Entry-Level and Lateral Police OfficersSeeking highly motivated individuals committed to public safety and protecting the citizens of our community. Current entry level starting hourly wage is $22.93. Lateral applicants will receive a starting hourly wage ranging from $24.08-$27.87, dependent on previous sworn experience and agency size. Patrol Division personnel work 10 hour and 40 minute shifts in a 28 day work cycle, during which officers work five days and have four days off. Officers have five days off every third rotation. An excellent benefit package is available and membership in the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) and Social Security is required.  Must be 21 years old.  Click blue link above for announcement and application or City Hall 710 E. Wastewater

The City of Coeur d’Alene is seeking a well-spoken Wastewater Superintendent that understands the Wastewater Department is part of the overall City team. Partnership and collaboration with other departments is vital. The superintendent should be a positive and progressive leader that seeks innovation and creativity in operations of the WWTP as well as how customer service is provided to the community. This position requires a leader that can build and sustain a strong team and seeks to build up and support that team through general management, coaching, and professional development opportunities. The success of these employees means the City is successful on behalf of Coeur d’Alene residents. This person must be well versed in National Pollution Elimination Discharge System permitting in both Washington and Idaho. Technical analysis and writing ability is crucial.  The superintendent supervises, manages, directs, plans, and organizes the wastewater utility including collection system, treatment plant, compost facility, industrial pre-treatment program, chemistry and microbiological laboratory and capital project management. Utility Worker IIStarting hourly wage is $18.55, supplemented by a generous  benefit package.  Performs diverse office & field duties for the Water Department, including installation, maintenance & repair duties of the city water supply, storage and distribution system.
