The city of Coeur d’Alene strives to provide responsive, consistent and convenient services to the citizens of our community. In order to best achieve this commitment, we want to hear from you. Each month, a CityPoll question will be posed to learn how the community feels about a particular issue. Responses will be carefully reviewed by city staff and changes will be used in leadership strategic planning as guidance to assure we are offering the best possible services to our citizens. Dog Park Facts:

  • Coeur d’Alene has three off-leash dog parks. Central Bark adjacent to Northshire Park at Atlas Road and Nez Perce Drive, Cherry Hill Dog Park on N. 15th, and the new dog park at McEuen Park downtown.
  • Another dog park is being considered in the area of the Hawks Nest subdivision at Atlas Road and Hanley Avenue.
  • The Kootenai County Dog Park Association is a group of local dog owners and interested parties who promote and maintain dog parks. Visit kcdogpark.com
