The Museum of North Idaho’s feature exhibit History Outside the Museum highlights historic buildings, structures and sites in the Coeur d’Alene region."These sites and their stories add life and energy to our communities," said museum director Dorothy Dahlgren. Highlights include gone, but not forgotten, buildings like the Wilma Theater.

The exhibit, which will run April 1 through Oct. 31, looks at the role of the National Register of Historic Places and other agencies that help people to preserve and recognize historic sites. The Museum is located downtown adjacent to Coeur d'Alene City Park. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am-5 pm, April 1 through Oct. 31. A free one-hour parking pass can be requested at the Museum desk.
