Municipal Services

Deputy City Clerk Seeking highly qualified employee with the ability to provide a wide variety of administrative municipal services, primarily related to business licensing and maintenance of public records, documents, transactions and related filings.  The position supervises customer service operations, oversees cash, credit and checks receipting, accounting and reconciliation of business licenses and ensures legal forms, claims or other documents filed with the City are recorded and/or transferred to appropriate staff for disposition and action.   The position provides significant customer service, education and information regarding City municipal services.  High school diploma, preferably supplemented with an Associate’s Degree in a business related field; and demonstrated customer service skills; and four (4)  years specialized training in records management, business practices, code compliance or related field; and Certified Municipal Clerk preferred (or ability to achieve within six years of hire); or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position may be considered.  Starting hourly wage $23.39 ($48,651 annually), plus a generous benefit package and membership in Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (State Retirement) is required.

Part-Time Evening Custodians
. Building Maintenance/Parks Department. Starting hourly wage is $10.00, 25 hours per week 5:00-10:00pm or later, non-benefited position with the exception of PERSI Retirement.  Must be able to pass a background check.  Requires strong custodian background and light maintenance work experience.  City of CDA Job Application.  Open Until Filled and continuously accepted. 

Temporary Ground Maintenance Workers
Starting hourly wage is $11.00. Performs basic maintenance duties on equipment, parks, buildings & grounds.  Must have valid driver’s license & be able to work in all types of weather.   City of CDA Job Application.  Open Until Filled.

Part-Time Swim
Instructor. Swim instructor experience and lifeguard experience preferred.  Must be first aid/CPR certified.  Hourly wage is $15.00.

Sports Officials
The city continuously accepts applications from those interested in officiating basketball and soccer.  Starting hourly wage is $9.00, 6-8 hours per week.  Requires confident personality, ability to work with parents and coaches and sports knowledge and background.
