Library Librarianto oversee the Youth Services Department at the Coeur d' Alene Public Library. Duties include: supervising assigned division and staff; reference/technical support; cataloguing; circulation and program development. Starting hourly wage $22.19, eligible for a five percent increase after 12 months of service with standard or above evaluations. A Bachelor’s Degree is required and an American Library Association (ALA) Master’s Degree in Library Science is preferred; and three (3) years’ experience in library program management or experience in education or a teaching certificate, with two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position may be considered.
