Historical,
Unusual or Big Trees: How to nominate Citizens of Coeur dAlene have great interest in trees, and have planted and nurtured a wide variety of tree species. Coeur dAlene, with the assistance of the Panhandle Kiwanis Club and an Idaho Community Forestry grant, has published a guide to some of the Citys trees that are unusual, the largest of their species, or have historical significance. First published in 1992, this guide to "Historical, Unusual & Big Trees of Coeur dAlene" was updated in 2000, and the most recent version will be printed in 2009. To make a nomination for the next version, see the nomination form below. To nominate a tree, print this form (PDF or DOC format), fill it out, and send it to the address provided on the form. |
