JEWETT HOUSE SENIOR CITIZEN RECREATION CENTER
This elegant three-story house, built in 1917 by the Rutledge family, is nestled against a pine covered hillside at 1501 East Lakeshore. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with flowerbeds, a grape arbor, shrubs, and shade trees of many varieties.

The Potlatch Corporation gave this beautiful residence to the City of Coeur d'Alene for the enjoyment of its senior citizens. Scheduled activities include pinochle, bridge, quilting, and club meetings for senior groups.
