NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho, will hold a public hearing to consider any and all public comments on the following proposed fees:
Municipal Services Department
Increase fees for certain license applicants who are fingerprinted for criminal history background checks; fees for photocopies/reproduction of large paper prints to be $4.00 for normal quality and $5.00 for high quality per square foot; the addition of CD copies at .43 without a case and .60 with a case; the addition of copies on a city provided flash drive will be $10.00 or actual cost whichever is lower; the addition of applicable shipping costs to public records requests; and increase fee for childcare/daycare facility license application and various other license and permit fees. Water Utility Department

The proposed fees are to assist in covering the cost of administration and materials necessary to provide the above noted services. The public hearing is being held as prescribed by Idaho Code Section 63.1311A.
The public hearing will be held in the Library Community Room, 702 E. Front Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at a regular meeting of the City Council on December 17, 2013 at the hour of 6:00 p.m.
The hearing will be held in a facility that is accessible to persons with disabilities. Special accommodation will be available, upon request, five (5) days prior to the hearing. For more information, contact the City Clerk at (208) 769-2231.
Specialized Needs Recreation (SNR) joined Governor "Butch" Otter and First Lady Lori Otter as they honored Idaho's 2013 Brightest Stars at their Annual Awards Ceremony on November 13th at the Egyptian Theatre in Boise. SNR was awarded the Governor's Brightest Star Award in the "organization" category. These awards celebrate the outstanding dedication and accomplishments of Idaho volunteers. The Governor's Brightest Star Awards Program is presented by Serve Idaho, the Governor's Commission on Service and Volunteerism.

A new site called 'McEuen Park Currents' has been created and it is located at www.cdaidparks.org. Just scroll down the Parks Department home webpage and you will find the 'McEuen Park Currents' link. The former McEuen website has been removed.
The information on the web site at this time is the power point presentation that was given at the City Council Meeting on March 6th. A historical review/recommendation sub-committee is also being created to help capture the changes that have occurred in the McEuen Park area over the past 100 plus years so that historical signs can be incorporated into the park plan.
