The City of Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission is seeking public comment on the art proposals submitted by the six finalists for the Seltice Way Roundabouts public art project.  The artist proposals are currently on display at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library, 702 E. Front Avenue, until September 11th, at which time they will be relocated to the Kroc Center, 1765 W. Golf Course Road, for additional public comment until September 19.  Citizens are encouraged to stop by the Library or the Kroc Center.

Public art can be a change agent for the community.  It creates and establishes neighborhood and community identity and also enhances the visual landscape and character of the city.  It turns ordinary spaces into community landmarks and promotes community dialogue and, most important, it's accessible to everyone.
