Construction Road Closure Notice - 15th Street and Locust Avenue

City of Coeur d’Alene Water Department maintenance crews will be replacing a section of water main at the 15^th Street and Locust Avenue intersection next week. Work is scheduled to begin at 7:00 am Monday August 6^th with completion and paving to wrap up by 5:00 pm on Friday August 10^th. Northbound traffic on 15th Street will be detoured west at Harrison Avenue to 9^th Street to provide an alternate crossing for I90. Southbound traffic will be detoured west at both 15^th and Best Avenue and 15^th and Syringa Drive to 9^th Street. Exiting I90 traffic at 15^th Street will be directed south to Harrison Avenue. Reader board signs have been placed at 15^th Street and Harrison Avenue as well as 15^th Street and Best Avenue to provide advanced notice to the motoring public of the impending road closure and alternate routes. The Port of Entry and the Idaho Transportation Department have been notified for alternate scheduling of oversized loads.
