Coeur d’Alene’s Ramsey Road will be closed near Kootenai County Solid Waste Wednesday, Oct. 18, for connection of underground utilities to a new multifamily housing development.

The closure, which will begin at 7 p.m., is between Kathleen Avenue and W. Golf Course Road. Local traffic will be allowed into the area. Other motorists will be detoured around the closure area. Ramsey is expected to reopen at 6 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 19.

The full closure is necessary to allow private contractors to excavate across the entire roadway in order to connect the new Centennial Pines development to the City’s water utility system. The project area is on the west side of the roadway, just south of the Trail Lodge Apartments.
