Narrative:

This morning the Kootenai County Fire Chiefs met and discussed the current weather advisory.  No significant incidents were reported as a result of the wind and rain overnight.  One tree was reported to have fallen into the roadway, near US Highway 95 and Government Way which created a traffic slowdown but no injuries.

The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will receive an updated weather report before noon today.  The second wave of the storm system was forecasted to come through Kootenai County between 11:00am and 7:00 pm today.

Avista, Kootenai Electric and Inland Power all reported some power outages and crews are working to repair those issues.

Avista                          – 0 outages in Kootenai County

Kootenai Electric        – 17 outages near Twin Lakes with crews assigned

Inland Power              - 37 outages in Kootenai County
