Third Street Mooring Dock

This facility is located between Tubb’s Hill and the Coeur d’Alene Resort south of the 3
rd street parking lot on the lake at 208 S 3rd Street.
Directions:From I-90 take NW Boulevard south, continue on as the road curves left and turns into Sherman Avenue. Turn right on Second Street, which again curves left and hang a right into the 3rd Street Parking Lot.
The City of Coeur d'Alene has the following waterfront facilities available to the boating public:

3rd Street Boat Ramp and Launch Dock: 
Personal watercraft may be launched at this ramp, which is accessible from the City Parking lot on Front Avenue at 3rd Street. There is a 20-minute limit at the launch docks. There are launch fees and boat trailer parking fees.  Launch fees:  $5 for in-state, $10 for out of state. Payment information, through Diamond Parking, is posted at the dock.

McEuen parking lot and garage
City Hall Parking Lot (8th Street and Bancroft)
  • Currently there is free parking at the City Hall Lot. Please be courteous and do not park your car in a truck & boat trailer spot. Cars can park on the street. Boats cannot. 
3rd Street Mooring Docks: The mooring docks are located east of the boat ramp launch docks, at the foot of Tubbs Hill. Watercraft may moor at these slips for a period of no more than 72 hours. All watercraft must fit within the length of the bay. There are fees to moor boats. The fee is the same as the McEuen parking structure.

1st Street Mooring Dock: This facility is located west of the Coeur d’Alene Resort. Watercraft may moor at these slips for no charge between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. for a period of no more than six hours during a 12-hour period. No moorage is allowed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

*Permits from the Idaho Invasive Species Fund are required in order to launch or operate vessels on any Idaho waterway.  You can obtain the sticker from the Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation.
