The City of Coeur d'Alene is accepting applications for Firefighter.  Starting annual base wage is $49,756, plus applicable specialty pay and a generous benefit package.  Announcement and application is attached (click on the blue Firefighter above), or at City Hall 710 E. Part-Time Library Clerk
.  20 hours per week, $13.32 per hour.  Benefits include: PERSI Retirement and pro-rated vacation and sick accruals. Performs a variety of general library tasks. Requires HS diploma/GED. Ground Maintenance Workers. $11.00 per hour. Basic maintenance on equipment, parks, buildings & grounds.  Must have valid driver’s license & be able to work in all types of weather.  May work up to 8 months.  Click Here for Application or available at City Hall, 710 E Mullan Ave., CDA, 769-2205.  Open Until Filled.

Irrigation Technician/Lead Maintenance Worker. Starting hourly wage is $18.92, plus excellent benefit package.  Performs Lead Maintenance Worker duties with the additional responsibility of maintaining the city’s irrigation systems for the Parks and Recreation Department.  Knowledge of all aspects of irrigation and control system design, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair is required.  The position requires a High school diploma or GED equivalency certification, an Idaho Class B CDL license with airbrake endorsement, Backflow Assembly Tester certification; Irrigation System Designer certification is preferred; a Pesticide applicator’s license, Four (4) years’ experience in irrigation system design and installation is preferred; Four (4) years’ experience in landscape maintenance, including supervisory experience, is preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position may be considered.  Click Here for Application or available at City Hall, 710 E Mullan Ave., CDA, 769-2205.  Application deadline is Friday, March 30, 2018 at 5p.m.  

Part-Time Evening Custodians. Building Maintenance/Parks Department. Starting hourly wage is $10.00, 25 hours per week 5:00-10:00pm or later, non-benefited position with the exception of PERSI Retirement.  Must be able to pass a background check.  Requires strong custodian background and light maintenance work experience.  City of CDA Job Application.  Open Until Filled and continuously accepted. 


Police Officers. (Entry-Level, Lateral and Post Certifiable)The City of Coeur d'Alene is seeking highly motivated Police Officer applicants committed to public safety and protecting the citizens of our community. Patrol Division personnel work 10 hour and 40 minute shifts in a 28 day work cycle, during which officers work five days on/four days off with five days off every third rotation. A generous benefit package is available and membership in the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) and Social Security is required.  Current entry level starting hourly wage is $23.39.  Lateral applicants will begin at a minimum of $24.56 to a maximum of $28.43, dependent on previous sworn experience and agency size.  Must be 21 years old at time of testing.  Job application and announcement is attached (Click on Blue Police Officer link above), or City Hall, 710 E. Part-Time Swim Instructor.
Swim instructor experience and lifeguard experience preferred. 
Must be first aid/CPR certified.  Hourly wage is $15.00. 

City of CDA Recreation Temporary/Seasonal Job Application.  Open until filled.
Part-Time Sports Officials The city continuously accepts applications from those interested in officiating basketball and soccer.  Starting hourly wage is $9.00, 6-8 hours per week.  Requires confident personality, ability to work with parents and coaches and sports knowledge and background. 
City of CDA Recreation Temporary/Seasonal Job Application
.  Open until filled.

Temporary Laborer.  $13.00 per hour, 40 hours per week for approximately five months.  Duties include working in the Water Department with heavy equipment, operating gas powered tools, laying water main, installing water services & weed control.  Must be able to lift 90 lbs & have valid driver’s license. City of CDA Job Application.or City Hall, 710 E Mullan Ave., CDA, 769-2205.  First Review of Applications 5pm Friday, March 30, 2018. Open Until Filled.
